During the Obama campaign, members of the Republican Party had complaints about then President-Elect Obama’s “openness”. They believed that he was all about talk and no substance, that he would not be able to make hard and tough descisions to protect the United States.
It was believed that he would not know what to do with his job especially for the first one hundred days; his then opponent, Sen. John McCain once said refering to him that “there is no time for on-the-job training.”
And now, day 3, he has made good on some of his words by making several very tough executive orders with the support of top US generals, their new complaint is that he is going way too fast for their liking; Rush Limbaugh even said he hopes “obama fails.”
It seems to me that no matter what President Obama does, those who choose not to support him will never be satisfied and will always look for something to comlain about.
Well, ya can’t please everybody!

Is America now trying to relate to black people or is it just me? From the January 20th 2009 Inauguration being the most political celebration filled with many black people to the National Cathedral Prayer Service the next day, it is very funny or awkward to see how white political America is trying to show that they are “down with the people”. I am watching the “prayer” service right now as I write and I am seeing how hard this “church” which barely had black people in their congregation before Obama is trying to so hard impress him by that awesome performance by a group of African American kids and a prayer earlier by an an African American Reverend. I can say it looks ok to some people but it looks very interesting to me. Interesting because I am niether impressed nor irritated. The welcome note had excerpts from Martin Luther King Jr., about how he preached from that same pulpit 25 yrs ago and so on, I wish I could have counted how many times Martin Luther King Jr. was mentioned, it was so strange to me that everyone felt like they needed to use a black man to convince or relate to a black man for some reason whatsoever . It seemed to me that they are very aware that Obama may not choose to feel at home with their white elitists’ “church”.

In my opinion Westboro Baptist group is not a church but a religious hate group. They’re religious extremists and I bet they make other Christians mad too. A Church is supposed to be a place of love, peace and yes acceptance, but because humans are not perfect, we add our own salt and pepper into the mix to sort of make things “spicy” and yes you guessed it, deadly. This church obviously is preaching some commands or concepts found in the bible but are more focused on their own angry views of the bible. The bible said if you called someone a fool or are angry at anyone you are in danger. Dr. Phill said yesterday that the word “anger” is only one letter away from “danger”. These people use their kids to preach hate, and call other people hateful names, ignoring when the bible said “there should be no dirty language from your lips” they are obviously like the religious teachers that killed Jesus in the bible because they felt like he was too liberal, refusing to kill a lady caught in adultery. Don’t get me wrong, Jesus spoke his mind but he did not force no one. He was very real, but he showed love to people that the society labeled as “sinners”. Have you heard the story of the prodigal son? Jesus told this story about a guy that took his own inheritance from his dad while his dad was still alive (which was so cold by the way…) and left to live his own life only to make a lot of mistakes and return home. What did his dad do? He received him back ( I probably wouldn’t have) and treated him more special with love than ever before. You don’t get people to join your religion with hate and anger, no one is attracted to that, you even look ugly and sick that way. By the way I am glad they are not pretending, this save us all the trouble of being duped into joining a hate group in the name of a Church. I really wonder what God is thinking right now. Christians in general need to be very careful of this whole hunger or desire to “make people see” and not freak people out. Keep it real, don’t call no one names, you are talking to adults. As long as Christians continue to be hateful or seclusive especially from other Christians, they will fall into more traps and become cults.

Have you heard of Westboro Baptist Church? Westboro Baptist church is headed by Fred Phelps
in Topeka, Kansas, USA and is attended mostly by his family members. This “church” so far seems be dedicated to the world of hatred towards America and everything and everyone that does not agree with their views
. They have made it their life’s mission to go to the funeral ceremonies of U.S. Marines to condemn them and sort of celebrate their deaths because they believe that anyone who chooses to support their “enemy” America is hated by God. They call gays “fags”
, and speak with a lot of hatred saying things like “thank God for dead soldiers
” and so on.
Question: According to my earlier posts under what category do you think they fall into, Cults or Extremists?

Hi everyone, I promised to continue where we left off. My last question was how do religious “cults” sneak up on you? They become the friend and family you never had. Studies have shown that people who had abandonment situations some time in their lives are vulnerable to being recruited by mind control groups. I mean, no one is saying you should walk around life skeptical about every act of kindness or acceptance from someone, but it’s ok to not completely trust someone’s motives right away.
Ok, so lets look at a summary of my last few posts about religious mind control. There are groups out there who are not cults but are extreme in their doctrines. Even the Bible warns about avoiding all extremes. But religious cults are extremists that have allowed themselves to fall deeper into their “obsession” for control or “protection”.
How do smart people fall into this trap? Everyone has a heart, even Bill O’reilly. So no matter how smart or anti social you are, you want to be loved and accepted by people. And this is how they work. They love and accept you like no one in your little world ever has, that way they gain your trust and isolate you by demanding you spend more time with them, making them a priority just like they seem to have made you, it’s very easy to fall into that trap by guilt. After that, they start to approve and disapprove on how you run your life and because you are now addicted to the “love and acceptance” you feel you can’t get anywhere else, you start changing things in your life just to please them, and before you know it, they use more fear of Hell Fire or God’s “anger” to scare and manipulate you to develop a fearful and self demeaning attitude in yourself. When you start to act this way, you will be unable to notice when they abuse you because you are already abusing yourself. More to come. To be continued…

So…from the the last post, I promised I was going to continue from where I left off. Like I was saying in my last post below, there are many unnoticeable ways one can get recruited to a religious cult. Let me start off by saying, there are religious cults and there are religious extremists but the funny thing is that extremists differ from cults but cults are not different from extremists. This is because I believe some cult organizations don’t start off being cults or even plan to; but after creating a “strong” system within themselves and seeing how it changes their lives, some members start to panic hoping not to loose the “love” or attention and especially control they are able to have over other people’s lives. It’s just like being in a relationship and all of a sudden realizing how much you love your partner and instead of being happy about the relationship and cherishing every moment, you get obsessive because you worry that you will loose something you think is “good” for you. So I want you to first of all see these people as humans, that are presently week and not wicked on purpose. They are fooled into thinking that they have to make a whole bunch of “rules” in order to protect themselves from loosing what they currently have among one another. And this my friends is how a well intended group of people become a cult organization.
How Do They Sneak Up On You? I will explain in details and give you real life examples.

We have all heard about religious extremists and religious terror groups but no other ones grab my attention more than the “Christian” extremist groups. Religious cults in America are so interesting to me because I have personally seen what being in a cult-like situation can do to the human mind. Many of you reading this right now would either cringe and feel funny when Christianity is mentioned with cultism but if you have nothing to hide then you have nothing to hide and just to let you know I am a Christian by choice. Yes a dedicated one but I have found myself in a cult-like church before. Some of you reading this may also wonder how stupid a person can be not to notice when a church is just plain strange and run for your dear life but let me tell you, one thing I realize is that IT or THEY sneak up on you. I mean “IT” by being in a well intended church and all of a sudden they get this feeling that only them (and no other church) can save the world and unless you are with them, you are following “loose” doctrines from other churches. I also mean “THEY” by talking about churches that already know that they are crazy-acting and are aware that they could run you off, will come befriend you first and gain your trust and confidence before you find out anything about them and save you dear sanity. This is just the beginning of what I have to say about these guys and like I said I have had experiences with people like them so I have a whole lot to say about their logic and lifestyles. I will be back here to discuss more these people and name several ones out there and I will tell you one by one where they went wrong and what their catchy message is because each cult group differs and can fool you.

Now, we all love Super Mario World but it seems like someone else is taking Mario’s place at least for now and you guessed right, Barack Obama. He won the bid for the White House and now it looks like he is the new guest in this new version of Super Mario World which is called Super Obama World including golden U.S. flags, enemies like pigs with red lipsticks, in locations like Alaska across overlooking Russia, Palin on a snow “machine” and much more. I mean you should see this stuff! I tried it out for myself and I got hooked trying to escape pigs with lipsticks! And did I mention lobbyists? The game is free to play online and the game developers intend on adding more twists to the game as time goes on. I mean, it is not like Mario 64 or something but it sure is a challenging game and will get you carried away. Try it out.
